Lily Bouquet Colours

Lilies can represent different meanings depending on their colour. White lilies, for instance, are very elegant, and generally represent peace and purity. They're a popular choice for weddings and also for remembering someone special. Pink lilies are soft and gentle, and a lovely way to show admiration or say 'thank you'. You can also get yellow lilies and orange lilies. Both are bold and energetic, great for celebrations, and often linked with friendship and happiness.

Then there are double-flowering Oriental lilies called rose lilies. They look almost like a cross between a rose and a lily with layers of ruffled petals in shades of hot pink and red, often edged with soft white. So, if you can’t decide on just one colour, rose lilies can be ideal. They’re also pollen-free, which means no mess!

What types of lilies do you have on offer?

We’ve got a few types of lilies to choose from. We've got the vibrant and strong-smelling Oriental lilies and the colourful and unscented Asiatic lilies. You can order practical lilies in vases or simple hand-tied bunches.

We do white lily bouquets, pink lily bouquets, mixed lily bouquets, and also arrangements that pair lilies with other flowers like roses.

In Australia, people often associate lilies with purity, elegance, renewal, and fresh starts. The name Lilium actually comes from Latin for 'pure', and it fits! Because when they open, they add a solid dose of calm to a space.

Are the lilies fully open or in bud form on delivery?

Most of the lilies we send out have a mix of tight buds and just-opening blooms. That way, they stay fresh longer, and the recipient gets to enjoy watching them open over time.

But if you want them delivered fully open and at peak bloom, just give us a call. We can sort that out for you, no problem!

Can I order lilies for same-day delivery?

Yes, you can! Just make sure you order before the cut-off time (depending on your delivery type) and you can leave the rest to us.

  • Home deliveries: Place your order before 5 pm on weekdays or before 2 pm on Saturdays to have it delivered on the same day. For Sunday same-day deliveries in Sydney, you need to order before 2 pm. We'll have your order at the door by 7 pm.
  • Business deliveries: Place your order before 2 pm on any weekday and we'll make sure your lilies arrive by 5 pm. If you order on a weekend and the business is closed, we’ll deliver them first thing the following Monday.
  • School deliveries: Place your order before 10 am, Monday to Friday, and we’ll make sure it arrives by 3 pm.
