I placed an order for delivery via Flowers for Everyone`s website, please see details below:-
The delivery was to my best friend in Melbourne who turned 50 yesterday. You can imagine my surprise when she called me to thank me for the flowers but did not receive the sparkling wine that I had ordered and paid for (which is clearly shown on the invoice below).
Please know that the flowers she received were beautiful and she loves them - so thank you.
I called Flowers for Everyone`s customer service desk to advise the wine was not delivered, and after checking out the details, I was advised by the operator that your store had cancelled the sparkling wine delivery at your end.
Firstly, I struggle to understand how you can cancel an item that I have already paid for, and secondly, not even inform me that you will not be delivering it.
The operator told me she could get the sparkling wine delivered today (which kind of defeats the purpose of my best friend celebrating her 50th with the sparkling wine I had ordered and paid for).
I received a call from my friend advising the delivery had arrived this afternoon, and she sent me a photo of it from her phone. And once again, you can imagine my confusion and disappointment to find out it was a bottle of Jacobs Creek Merlot and NOT the Australian Sparkling Wine (Premium Brut) as pictured below.
Are you able to explain firstly, why your business canceled the wine delivery yesterday, and secondly, why your business chose to not to deliver the item that I clearly had ordered (and paid for) and instead chose to deliver the opposite of that without even telling me?
Sparkling wine is what I ordered and paid for so my friend could at least have a celebratory drink on her 50th birthday (in these difficult Co-vid times in Melbourne where she couldn`t even have her family or friends with her to celebrate). And instead of getting that (on the day of delivery) she received a bottle of Jacobs Creek Merlot - which she won`t be drinking because she doesn`t even drink (or like) red wine!
I am just so confused by these turn of events, and I can tell you, it has not been a pleasant experience for myself or my best friend.
Disappointing really.

Service rating : I have used Flowers for Everyone on three occasions. On the first and third occasions I have had excellent service and I have been thrilled with results.
On the second occasion the flowers were delivered before the recipient was home. I spoke to some one at your company who said it was because I put after 2pm. However, they were delivered around midday. It was disappointing that the addressee did not get the surprise of opening the door to a beautiful flower arrangement. The flowers were beautiful and she loved them. I was disappointed because I wanted her to get a surprise.
Overall, I am happy with the service and I recommend you to anyone I know who is looking to send flowers to anyone for whatever reason.
