Courier delivery service did not wait for hospital staff to pick up flowers resulting in delivery failure. Essentially the courier called the receiver as they were not let onto wards, and the patient sent staff down to collect flowers, but the courier did not wait. I was initially asked to pay more for a new bunch to be delivered but after insisting that it was a fault with their delivery service that a fresh bunch was delivered 4 days later. Flowers were nice, and it is good that customer service staff responded to email messages. But please review your delivery service vendor.
