Bright is usually best. Vibrant orange, sunshine yellow, hot pink and fresh lime greens are invigorating and energising. However, soft and pale pastels with lush greenery can also have a calming, soothing effect on a patient.
We always recommend flower arrangements designed in re-usable ceramic pots, vases and gift boxes, for ease of placement upon a patient`s bedside. Lastly, keep in mind that patient`s may be allergic to heavily perfumed or pollinated flowers (or at the very least could find them to be overpowering in the confines of a hospital room when feeling unwell). If you wish to play it safe, we recommend opting for seasonal flowers such as roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, chrysanthemums, gerberas, iris, snapdragons, tulips and orchids.
