To send flowers, simply browse through our online florist shop, select your favourite floral design, then click on `order now`. Easy! Alternatively feel free to phone our toll free number on 1800 66 66 46 to discuss your order with our helpful consultants.
We always recommend flower arrangements designed in ceramic pots, vases or gift boxes, for ease of placement upon arrival to the hospital (plus the patient can also re-use at home after they`re discharged).
It is often a good idea to take into consideration whether or not the patient may have an allergy to heavily perfumed flowers or pollen. These can be a little overpowering in the confines of a hospital room when recovering from an illness. To be on the safe side, look for bouquets that contain seasonal blooms such as roses, chrysanthemums, tulips, Sweet William, gerbera daisies, snapdragons, lisianthus, bells of Ireland, orchids and other tropicals. Asiatic lilies can be okay, as long as their stamens are removed as the buds open.
Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital (often referred to as Bankstown hospital) is a 433 bed principal referral hospital. The hospital has been designed to offer quality care in modern, purpose-built facilities.
The hospital has teaching and research links to the University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and University of Western Sydney, offering supervised undergraduate placements and encouraging recruitment of motivated new graduates.
