What Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
Breast Cancer remains the most common cancer among Australian women, with the National Breast Cancer Foundation reporting 9 people losing their lives to the disease every day. Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) is an annual international health campaign held every October by Breast Cancer charities to raise awareness, and fundraise for research into treatment and cures.

Supporting Pink Ribbon Day 2023
Every year, a day in October is dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness through Pink Ribbon Day. This event has now stretched into a longer period throughout October. To support this initiative, we encourage you to host a Pink Ribbon event in October to help raise funds for research into potential new treatments and prevention measures. Ideas include hosting a fun breakfast, morning tea or bunch with friends, family or work colleagues at your community or workplace. To fundraise, charge an entry fee, and add raffles to your Pink Ribbon event. Register at National Breast Cancer Foundation.
