As florists we are regularly asked by brides what flowers will be available during different months of the year. For brides with their hearts set on a particular flower in their wedding bouquet, it may be the deciding factor on exactly when the wedding will be held. To help guide you along the floral path for your upcoming nuptials, keep an eye out for our new bridal features showcasing past Flowers for Everyone and BridesinBloom clients on their big day. We hope their experiences and seasonal floral design choices provide inspiration, assistance with planning, and a few ticked boxes on the ‘to do’ list.

When Kieran and Emma first met through mutual friends, little did they know it would ultimately lead to a romantic wedding proposal on Sydney’s Whale Beach.
“Kieran proposed on the beach for our four year wedding anniversary.”
The David Austin is one in-demand rose and it’s easy to understand why when you see a bridal bouquet like Emma’s. Beautifully complementing her classic bridal dress, Emma chose to carry a large clustered bouquet of elegant white David Austin roses, standard white roses and white lisianthus, finished in an ivory satin binding.
The bridesmaids carried small clustered bouquets of Antique roses, pale pink David Austin roses, white lisianthus, white David Austins and standard roses, finished with a nude pink satin ribbon to match their dresses.
The groom wore a white David Austin rose buttonhole. Simple, stylish and classic.
We supplied the bride with our round 3 tier medium cake in a marble and hummingbird flavour. The floral decoration was chosen to match the bridesmaid bouquets, finished with a soft ivory organza ribbon.
“Start planning early and solicit the help of your family and bridesmaids for anything that you can delegate, if you are organised it definitely reduces your stress. I found that making contingency plans in advance ensured that nothing could spoil my day!”
