A posy is a tightly clustered group of flowers with minimal foliage. As the stems are kept relatively short, they are best suited for fish bowl vases or short cylindrical containers and are ideal to sit on a coffee table, side board, or a bed side.

Posies make a perfect gift to send to the hospital, office or home, as they are petite and can be easily transported. They are generally made with a selection of smaller, classic blooms such as hyacinth, roses, miniature gerberas, lisianthus, and sweet pea with soft, smaller foliage so as not to overtake the arrangement.
