Caring for your flowers, so that they will continue to brighten your day for as long as possible

Bouquets, posies, rose bouquets and presentation boxes
As soon as you receive your bouquet or posy of flowers they should always be placed in fresh water immediately as this will ensure that they receive the nutrients they need to help them last longer
and brighten up your day.Always remove all wrapping from the stems of flowers.
Please follow the instructions below. . .
• Fill your vase half full with water and add 1/2 packet of the flower food provided. Cut approx 2 cm off the stems of your bouquet at a 45 degree angle and then add your flowers. Take care to remove any leaves from the stems, so there are none below the water level,to ensure that the water will not become contaminated and spoil your flowers.
• Remove your flowers from the vase every 2 days, rinse the vase
thoroughly and then add fresh water and the remaining flower food
before the flowers are placed back into the vase.
Arrangements in an oasis box, pot or basket
To ensure that your arrangement will last, always check the water
level daily so that the oasis is moist and will provide the nutrients to your flowers.
Vase arrangements
Take the vase out of the travel box provided for the safe arrival of your flowers and check the water level. Remove your flowers from the vase every 2 days, rinse the vase thoroughly and then add fresh water and the flower food, before the flowers are placed back into the vase.
Important things to remember. . .
• Always keep your flowers out of direct sunlight, heat and draughts and in a shaded, cool part of the room. It is always wise to keep them away from electrical equipment such as heaters, TV’s, ovens and microwaves.
• As some flowers will last longer than others it is important to remove any flowers and blooms from your arrangement which may have died.
• It may be necessary to trim 2cm off your flowers at a 45 degree angle to help them last longer.
